These solar LED string lights work by converting solar energy through the solar panel into electricity during the day, and light up automatically at night. Installation: 1.Insert the stake into the tube located on the rear of the solar panel. 2. After finding an adequate location place the stake into the ground with solar panel attached. (if the ground is too hard to insert the stake DON'T attempt to hammer or twist the stake, if possible soften the ground with water.) 3. Leave the switch in the 'ON' position. The lights will automatically turn on once dusk and will automatically turn Off on daybreak. 4. Note: If lights seem dim or do not stay On, please relocate solar panel to a more lighted area.
